Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective April 28, 2026
Free splitting and link sharing have nothing to refund. For paid AI credits we keep it simple: failed AI runs are auto-refunded as credits in real time, and unused credit packs can be refunded to the original payment method within 7 days of purchase.
This policy describes when and how you can get a refund for purchases made on Splitbill (bill.rajkar.dev).
1. Free use
Manual bill splitting and sharing are free. There is nothing to refund for the free tier.
2. AI credits — automatic refund on failure
If an AI scan or AI assign run fails or returns no usable result, Splitbill automatically returns the credit to your balance. You do not need to contact us — this happens in real time.
3. Purchase refunds
Credits are digital goods consumed instantly. We will refund credit purchases under the following conditions:
- The request is made within 7 days of purchase.
- The credits in the purchased pack are unused at the time of the request (we will check the balance against the pack size).
- The purchase was not made using a payment method later flagged as fraudulent or charged back.
Partial-refund requests for partly-consumed packs are reviewed case-by-case and are not guaranteed.
4. How to request a refund
Email contact@rajkar.me with:
- The Google email of your Splitbill account.
- The Razorpay payment ID or order ID from the receipt.
- A short reason for the refund.
We typically respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method via Razorpay and arrive in 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or UPI provider.
5. Cancellation
Splitbill does not sell subscriptions or auto-renewing plans. Each credit pack is a one-time purchase, so there is nothing to cancel.
